Crowds Artist (02/18-present) 
Create final shot work and sequence-level layouts and simulations. Serve as a Sequence Lead, creating base sims, prepping shots, and giving feedback to the artists  assigned to shots in my sequences.  Plan and design animation cycles to be used in Crowds shotwork including retargeting the cycles to a myriad of character rigs and fixing the animations once retargeted.  Chosen as the Animation Department representative for the Studios’ “Short Cuts” short film selection committee. Presented Blending In: The Crowds of Spies in Disguise at Siggraph 2020.  Credits include: Spies In Disguise and Nimoma.

Teach the “Introduction to 3D Computer and Character Animation” course to University of Southern California Animation undergraduates who are studying abroad in Florence, Italy.

Created final shot work and sequence-level layouts and simulations. Served as a Sequence Lead, prepping sequences/shots and giving feedback to the artists assigned to shots in my sequences. Developed tools in Houdini and Maya to facilitate/ameliorate crowds workflow.  Credits include: Frozen, Big Hero 6, and Zootopia.

Create final shot work and sequence-level layouts and simulations. Helped design the Crowds production pipeline to enhance art direct-ability. Credits include: Epic.  The Crowd Effects on Epic were nominated for a VES award in 2014.

DreamWorks Animation Television
Layout Artist (10/11-08/12)
Built master sequence files containing all necessary assets, shot information, and tool setups. Created camera compositions and pre-vis animations. Served as the department TD, providing technical support for the other Artists and building tool sets and GUIs. Credits include: DreamWorks Dragons! Rider of Berk (for Cartoon Network).

Taught EMO, DreamWorks’ proprietary animation and layout software, and provided technical support to Character Animation, Layout, Production Engineering, FX and Character FX departments. Write support documentation on EMO, Maya and the pipeline. Credits include: Flushed Away, Shrek The Third, Kung Fu Panda, and Bee Movie.
